With the submission process at Microsoft to go through is it safe to assume the patch wont be out before the new year? Is the submission process a lot faster than in the past?

Codemasters staff will be on holiday until after the year, so don't expect any news until mid-January

As this is taking 55 years to come out, will you use the extra time you have to make sure laps are INVALIDATED in qualifying after a warning for track extending or corner cutting? It should really be common sense as its been in every F1 game up until this point. What's the point of a improved system if it doesn't act against the findings?

I'm glad a patch is on the way, but you did say before Christmas. Maybe don't give a date next time until you know it can easily be done by the time you give.

Producing better games, providing support and updates, providing information on that support and those updates. And yes, answering forum posts aswell.


F1 2010 had game breaking bugs and was never fixed, F1 2011 was bugged and one of the updates broke it even more, F1 2013 was just awful, and F1 2014 did not get a single patch.


This game is playable, good quality, with bugs, but nothing game breaking (offline speaking), and the team finally seem to be going a responsible and positive direction. Believe me, I was one of CMs biggest critics, particularly Hood, but they have improved massively.

Just cut them some slack. You've got a half decent game, and a patch that will improve it on the way.

Guyz did u start listen community? Well if not just dont CUT featured like pace car, custom race in multiplayer, etc. Because i very loyal customer (and I not only one) who completely stop play in f1 (i buy all u games since 2010).

And yes i buy f1 2016 but i hope u finally after 6 years start thinking about ESSENTIAL F1 FEATURES like PACE CAR must be from the beginning, custom multiplayer so we CAN FIND players to play together

-taking out the most played game-mode (career mode) 
-making multiplayer even worse
To think you are so stupid that you take career mode just so you can waste your money on antony davidson for a dull commentary that everyone skips?

The communication has certainly improved after 2015 release sadly the F1 games when it comes to features have not followed suit. The only thing that F1 2015 online has got going for it is the online practice session if you can get past some of the bugs.

I would also add that to classify F1 2013 as one of the bad games is just not accurate, in fact it was one of the only good ones and it takes more than one man (Hood) to screw things up the way CM has. I'd start with the pin striped suits upstairs.

well technically they didn't take it out as it was never in in the first place 2015 was a game built from the ground up omn a new engine for the next gen systems just like 2010 was. Admittedly I think it's safe to say we all mis career mode but I believe the plan is for it to be restored for 2016 or at least a form of career mode anyway.

I don't know what controller you are/ were using because unless it is rubbish or you don't know how to set up your wheel, F1 2013 controller interface is light years ahead of F1 2015. I am enjoying F1 2013 right now and have absolutely none of those problems, furthermore go back over old posts in any of the forums and controls is not a big beef. This forum alone is full of bitching about F1 2015 controller problems.

I remember 2012 being extremely tricky, traction control wise - 2013 I didn't play much of 2014 I didn't buy, 2015 is by far and away the iteration of F1 i've spent the most time playing and find it really enjoyable - despite the bugs. Now that i'm using Wheel/Pedals i'm beginning to be more concerned with tyre use during Practise and Quali sessions so expect to come across some of the tyre selection bugs doing the rounds sooner or later (which previously I didn't notice).

? Pad for all games, no issues at all, the controller was absolutely fine. It was the arcade handling that was poor, not the set up of the controller by any stretch.
