2010 cars performance worse than 2000s?

Is it me? I seem to be consistently faster in the 2000 cars, particularly the Focus RS 2007 than I am with the newer cars: the Polo and the Fiesta RS.

Anybody got any thoughts on this? Did the FIA "dumb down" the performance of the newer cars?

When driven right, the 2000's are no match for the 2010's. On long stages they can be up to 15 seconds quicker.

yes only the pug 205 really beats 2010s when driven as porky says.

2000s arent even close.
