Companion app

If you talking about apps like vrhive, I think people or players make those apps on their own. Then shares them with the community. The only thing the game makers do is put in a port system in the game to allow data sharing.

This is called an API - not sure how do-able that is with Consoles. Even so, an F1 20XX app for Android, iOS, Windows Phone which signs into a CodeMasters account (like RaceNet) and stores your best lap times in the various game-modes to then compare to friends/leader board or post to social media would be nice.

ProjectCars has full-on telemetry data for their PC version only I think.

Since the last update for project cars (7.0) the API (or something similiar) is made public for the console community. You now have a few apps that are already compatible with ps4 and xbox one, like vrHive, Crew Chief and Pcars Dash.

These apps really make the experience better! I would love to see this for f1 2015 (ore any other new f1 game)

They have to include things like this. Whats the point of improving consoles if they don't use the improvement part of the new consoles in their games.

Or an app that does what the mfd does but with a single tap other than the whole multi presses I.e race engineer communication because during a race this is the quickest way to lose a wheel
